Americans for the Trump Agenda to co-sponsor 2nd conference of 2018, ask 4 candidates, “How would you help advance the Trump Agenda as Virginia Governor” followed by Straw Poll Vote to Choose One

Advertising for the Governor Forum of Freedom Leadership Conference on February 16 has kicked in with two of the candidates for Governor telling our leaders that this event is now on their calendar, a third advising that he will confirm any day now.

All four candidates for Governor were invited by email and mail last Monday, 1/23 and we have made face to face contact with two candidates and one staff member, and phone contact with the fourth to follow up.  We anticipate all or most of them speaking at this second 2018 conference, co-sponsored by Americans for the Trump Agenda (AFTA), which expects a capacity crowd to listen before a straw poll vote is taken by secret ballot and we learn who conservatives favor at this early stage to be the next Governor of Virginia.  The vote tally will be announced before the conference adjourns.

Conference Agenda

5 PM – Doors open for dinner, networking
5:30 PM – Dinner served (diners have preferential seating for conference)
6:30 PM – Dinner adjourns, Conference Doors open (same room)
7:00 PM – Conference Begins, all candidates invited to speak
9:00 PM – Conference Ends with announcement of Straw Poll Results after secret ballot voting

Once again, we remind our readers, subscribers and friends that we expect a capacity crowd for both the 5:30 PM dinner and the later conference (7 PM) on Thursday evening, February 16 in Chantilly, Virginia as a “Governor Forum” for the four candidates for Governor, register HERE.  The last five conferences of 2016 were at full capacity and the first one of 2017 was nearly full capacity.

The key question being asked of the candidates for Governor is: how would you help advance the Trump agenda as Governor of Virginia consistent with the ideals enumerated in the Thurmont Statement of Conservative Principles if you were to win the GOP nomination in the June primary this year and the election in November.  Each candidate is allocated 14 minutes to speak.  There is no time in the agenda for questions & answers unless one or more of the candidates does not make an appearance and therefore cedes his time to his opponents who do appear (we have one hour of the evening program, total).

Advertising for the conference is expected to set new attendance records in the next two weeks, with past paid advertising on Facebook reaching 7,500 conservatives who live within a short drive of the conference location at the Wingate by Wyndham Chantilly off Route 50 near Route 28 at 3950 Centerview Drive, Chantilly, VA.  This is the third consecutive conference at the new, better and expanded venue we have moved to after overflowing the Fair Lakes Marriott Residence Inn in late 2016.

Dinner attendees will have the better and preferential seating at the front of the conference and be seated by 5:30 PM (doors open 5 PM), 90 minutes before the doors open at 6:30 PM for conference-only attendees, with the full conference starting at 7 PM.

As we have explained to the four candidates for the GOP nomination for Governor, the dinner attendees on November 16 will be the best and most active, coalition-minded conservative donors and activists in northern Virginia and they are most interested in meeting you at this VIP dinner for our speakers and conference leadership.

The four candidates for the GOP nomination for Governor are Ed Gillespie, Corey Stewartd, Denver Riggleman and Scott Wagner.

We are awaiting confirmation as to which of the candidates who will speak at the Conference form 7 to 9 PM (doors open 6:30 PM) can come earlier for the 5:30 to 6:30 PM dinner (doors open 5 PM).  Three of the four candidates have advised us that we are on their schedule but they have not yet given us final confirmation.  Tickets are available for the dinner (discounted for couples) until Tuesday, February 6 at 11 PM.  Limited seating for the lower price conference ($5) will be available until the last seat is sold.

The United States Intelligence Council is the second co-sponsor of the February 16 Freedom Leadership Conference, presenting Dr. R. Evan Ellis, on the subject of Communist China advances in the Western Hemisphere.  Dr. Ellis is a Research Professor of Latin American Studies.  His presentation is expected to provide a major update with new information following the 2002 publication of the USIC published book Stealth Invasion – Communist Chinese Operations in North America, By Dr. Roger Canfield, USIC Exec VP, which had a circulation of 400,000.
