Greg Gutfeld of Fox TV Blasts TV Host Katie Couric

Rebuts attempt to smear Philip Van Cleave and Leaders of Virginia Citizens Defense League

Defamation Lawsuit Filed, Van Cleave to appear Wednesday at Freedom Leadership Conference

Greg Gutfeld, host of “The Five” on Fox TV, hasn’t agreed to appear as a witness in the lawsuit filed by principal speaker at this coming Freedom Leadership Conference this Wednesday night at the Fair Lakes Marriott Residence Inn, 12815 Fair Lakes Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22033.  But Gutfeld offers his own opinion about the attempt to smear Philip Van Cleave, President of the Virginia Citizens Defense League on the documentary TV show in which he and members of his group appeared long before the defamation lawsuit filed by the gun rights group against the liberal TV commentator (view the short Gutfeld commentary, click above image or HERE).

7 to 9 PM Free Conference
Advance RSVP required due to limited space (no admittance without RSVP)

Couric poses a question to the group of gun rights advocates, which is a co-sponsor of this upcoming conference at the Fair Lakes Marriott Residence Inn, Fairfax, Virginia.  She asks, “If there are no background checks for gun purchasers, how to you prevent felons or terrorists from purchasing a gun?”  Gutfeld shows the actual footage, which without a doubt, makes Philip Van Cleave and leaders of his group appear dumb, stupid, totally stumped because of a long pause and silence after her question.

But then Gutfeld reports, the gun rights group has secretly recorded the entire interview and he aired their sharp and rather effective reply to her question.  Katie Couric no longer appears the smart reporter and her victims have turned the table on her.  But that’s not the part they showed on TV when they aired the edited documentary.

As Gutfeld explains, Katie Couric had to apologize, even if it was a half hearted apology blaming the incident on “the director’s need for a dramatic pause.”

Without a doubt this incident illustrates that there really is a war on conservatives and gun owners by the media, but that you can turn the tables on them.  But the story doesn’t end with Gutfeld and other fair and balanced reporters revealing the truth about what this phony documentary tried to do to smear conservatives.

Van Cleave and his group filed suit several weeks ago and we are really looking forward to his explaining how he turned the tables on this famous TV reporter, and what he sees as the stakes in the 2016 election.

Gutfeld asks, “You’ve got to wonder how many other segments by Couric, Brian Williams, Jon Stewart or others would have been more fair if they knew someone was holding them accountable.”

Not all of the media is as unfair as Katie Couric but many are.  Two splendid examples of turning the tables on them were offered this past week by candidate for Vice President Mike Pence in the debate against an opponent who constantly interrupted him without ever being stopped by the moderator, and as we will hear in more detail this coming Wednesday night, by Philip Van Cleave and his Virginia Citizens Defense League.

The Black Robe Regiment of Virginia will also be a co-sponsor of the Freedom Leadership Conference this Wednesday, providing two speakers: Founder and CEO, Rev. William Cook and his wife Judy, who founded the pro-life group, Josiah Project.

Judy Cook will speak about the successful “40 Days for Life” initiative, involving 40 days of prayer vigils at abortion clinics throughout America, asking God to shut them down, to soften the hearts of the mothers going there to kill their babies and praying for them to turn away from these abortion clinics, accept the help offered, allow their baby to be born and put the newborn up for adoption with a loving family.

Rev. Cook will focus on the moral and spiritual meltdown in America, its implications for the future of the Republic, and ways pastors and their congregations can effect a significant change in the spiritual direction of America, and at the same time, “secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and to our Posterity. Rev. Cook will also focus on the turning point America faces in the election just weeks from this October 12 conference.

The 7 to 9 PM Conference is free but an advance RSVP is required due to limited space (no admittance without RSVP, do it HERE).
