Freedom Leadership Conference keynote speaker to say proposal will cause more job losses for Blacks and Hispanics
The July keynote speaker of the Freedom Leadership Conference will rip the Senate Gang of 8 proposal as an amnesty which will hurt America’s economy and especially damage the working poor in America this Wednesday, speaking in behalf of conference co-sponsor, American Border Control (ABC).
Jon Moseley, ABC Executive Director, will single out Senators and Congressmen who vote for the proposal to liberalize American immigration law as siding people who reject the fundamental principles of the free market, in favor of a command economy used in communist countries, in prepared keynote remarks at the conference founded 14 years ago on the west coast.
The conference changed to a private, members only, monthly function in late 2012, and Moseley has been one of the speakers every year for the past several years.
The simple fact is, Moseley will say in his Wednesday remarks, those who favor amnesty while claiming they are helping the economy, are attempting to lower the price of goods by bringing in new foreign workers rather than letting those jobs go to Americans – especially black Americans with the highest unemployment rates in many decades. They will hurt the economy because they are basing their estimates on projections, not facts, and their proposal will especially hurt those at the bottom of the economic ladder in America.
Moseley will point to other reasons to oppose amnesty in addition to the economic one his keynote remarks will focus on – saying that with passage of the proposal “a flood of invaders will continue.”
In addition to continuing the high unemployment among blacks and Hispanics in America, more will actually lose their jobs of the “Gang of 8” proposal to liberalize immigration reform is passed, Moseley will say.
Jon Moseley’s keynote remarks will be both a reaffirmation of traditional conservative economics in the face of the amnesty proposal passed by the Senate and now before the House, and a clarion call to arms for conservatives to put pressure on their House members right now in July before this amnesty is passed.
Pressing his point about economics, Moseley, who in addition to being a practicing attorney, also holds a Bachelor of Science Administration degree with a major in Finance, will say the issue is the defense of the free market in America, and ask conservatives to rise to the challenge.
Conference co-sponsor New Americans by Choice will also provide a speaker or a panel on “Why I Chose America” – a popular series which they have undertaken for the past several years.
David Denholm, President of Public Service Research Council, will announce the monthly “Saul Alinsky Smear Conservatives Award” on Wednesday.
Michael Eric Dyson of MSNBC TV has been nominated for the “smear conservatives” award for calling Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas a “symbolic Jew who sides with Hitler” to “commit Genocide” because he objected to a recent Supreme Court decision where Thomas was in the majority, see article HERE.
Jane Lawler-Savitske, one of the conference members, strongly favored this nomination, reacting with this statement: “Please, by all means designate this prejudiced MSNBC Commentator as this month’s recipient of the Saul Alinsky Award. Associate Justice Thomas and his wife Ginni attend my Catholic Parish, Saint Raymond of Penaford, and I know both of them.”
