Defamation Lawsuit Filed, Van Cleave to appear Wednesday at Freedom Leadership Conference

Greg Gutfeld, host of “The Five” on Fox TV, hasn’t agreed to appear as a witness in the lawsuit filed by principal speaker at this coming Freedom Leadership Conference this Wednesday night at the Fair Lakes Marriott Residence Inn, 12815 Fair Lakes Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22033.  But Gutfeld offers his own opinion about the attempt to smear Philip Van Cleave, President of the Virginia Citizens Defense League on the documentary TV show in which he and members of his group appeared long before the defamation lawsuit filed by the gun rights group against the liberal TV commentator (view the short Gutfeld commentary, click above image or HERE).

The Virginia Citizens Defense League was announced today as a co-sponsor of the Freedom Leadership Conference for next Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Fair Lakes Marriott Residence Inn, Fairfax, Virginia from 7 to 9 PM with their President, Philip Van Cleave, delivering remarks as a principal speaker.

Van Cleave and members of his Virginia Citizens Defense League filed a defamation lawsuit several weeks ago on September 13 against Katie Couric and other responsible parties for their film “Under the Gun” in Federal District Court.  The phony “documentary” made it appear that VCDL leaders were totally stumped by Katie Couric’s question about background checks – with a long pause indicating their confusion and inability to answer.  The only problem was, it was totally false – they had immediately responded but the film was edited to falsely make them look stupid.   Continue reading →

New social media campaign to feature photo of student “Pizza Girl” and headline “Don’t tax my food!” to help promote attendance at 6/15 Conference.

Freedom Leadership Conference to feature speakers to oppose Meals tax plus Dr. Sebstaian Gorka to promote his new book, Defeating Jihad: The Winnable War

Freedom Leadership Conference announced its new ad campaign to fight the proposed Fairfax Meals Tax and boost attendance at its anti-tax conference on Wed., June 15, featuring a picture of a student eating a slice of pizza with the slogan in bold “Don’t tax my food” pictured here.

Advocates for the Meals Tax are using photographs of little children in their campaign to persuade voters in Fairfax to adopt their Meals Tax on the November 2016 ballot.  Their argument is that in Fairfax County, one of the highest taxed and lavishly funded Education systems in America, the little children will starve if this new tax increase proposal is not adopted.

The truth is that the money won’t be used to feed starving children but for one of the most consistent and highest Democratic Party constituencies, teacher and government workers getting more pay and pension benefits.  All part of the “get out the vote” effort for Hillary Clinton and her Democratic Party ticket this election year.
